Chart By
Once the Chart By dropdown is selected, the Chart By tab on the right side of the gadget will allow you to customize segments further
Example: You set the Chart By to be Assignee and you want to combine “Miroslav Stencel” and “Becky Schwartz” into one segment - just move over to the Chart By tab and combine those two values!
Chart by Options If a Date Field is Selected for the Chart by value

Show zero countsIf “On chart” is toggled on (green), segments with a value of zero are shown on the chart If “Highlight rows in editor” is toggled on (green), zero count segments are highlighted in the editor and can be easily deleted |

Color lockWhen toggled on (green), users can lock in the color for all Chart By segments

Reorder segmentsBy clicking and dragging to the pair of vertical dots next to a segment box, users can change the order of Chart By segments |

Color pickerBy selecting the color dropper, users can change the color of Chart By segments |

Rename segmentsBy selecting the pencil icon next to a segment name, users can change the name of Chart By segments |

Group segmentsBy selecting the + icon next to a segment name, users can combine multiple Chart by segments into a single segment |

Hide segmentsBy clicking the eyeball icon next to a segment, users can hide Chart By segments from the chart |

Date Options
For charts where you choose a date field as the Chart By option, you can customize the way the dates are grouped and the range of dates that display on the chart.
Customization | Options |

Grouping In the dropdown, users can change the way dates are grouped on the chart (i.e. break the dates down by month instead of day) |

Range In the dropdown, users can change the range of dates that appear on the chart (i.e. only show issues with due dates in the next 30 days) |

Show issues without dates Click the toggle (it will turns green) to include issues on the chart that do not have a date filled in for the date field selected in the Chart by dropdown
