No action is required for Data Center customers to report on Tempo data

Overview

Custom Charts now supports reporting on data from Tempo Timesheets. For Cloud customers, there are several steps that are required to connect the two apps.

Set it up

The configuration for this connection is done from the Tempo Apps page.

To navigate to the Tempo Apps page,

  1. Open the Apps dropdown in the main Jira header

  2. Select Tempo

  3. On the left navigation, select Apps

Once you’ve found the Apps page, you can simply locate the Custom Charts for Jira or Custom Charts for Confluence trusted app, and select Install!

Once you’ve installed the Trusted App, you can now load data such as Tempo worklog author into any Custom Charts gadget or macro.

 

 

Note: Custom Charts for Jira occasionally return more time spent on an issue than is reported in Timesheets. This occurs when the Jira and Timesheets worklogs don't match.
