Only Administrators can assign users permission to view and/or create Global Templates.


Steps to Allow Users to Create and Adjust Global Templates

  1. Navigate to the Custom Charts Admin Settings (click here to see the steps to get to the Admin Settings)

  2. On the Custom Charts - Settings page, click the Template Options tab

  3. Click the second section on the page, Permission - Global Template Administrator, to expand it

  4. Add in the Jira/Confluence user(s) and/or Groups who should be able to create, rename, and delete templates

    1. In the textbox under User Name, type the name of the user(s) who should be Global Template Administrators

    2. In the textbox under Group Name, type the name of the Group(s) with users who should be Global Template Administrators

    3. Click on the user name and/or Group, then click Add


Steps to Allow Users to View Global Templates

  1. Navigate to the Custom Charts Admin Settings (click here to see the steps to get to the Admin Settings)

  2. On the Custom Charts - Settings page, click the Template Options tab

  3. Click the second section on the page, Permission - Global Template Viewer, to expand it

  4. Add in the Jira/Confluence user(s) and/or Groups who should be able to view templates

    1. In the textbox under User Name, type the name of the user(s) who should be Global Template Viewers

    2. In the textbox under Group Name, type the name of the Group(s) with users who should be Global Template Viewers

    3. Click on the user name and/or Group, then click Add
