We are excited to announce a new feature in the Simple Search gadget, the “Show connected charts button”!
What does this button do?
In order to use the filters built out in the Simple Search gadget in Custom Charts reports, users must connect the Simple Search gadget to the specific reports. Previously, in order to see the reports the Simple Search gadget was connected to, users had to go through a multi-step process. This new button simplifies that process into 2 steps, making it easier for users to understand which reports a Simple Search gadget is connected to.
Updated Steps to Show Connected Charts
On your Dashboard, navigate to the Simple Search gadget
Next to the blue Search button, click the set of 3 vertical dots
In the menu that appears, click Show connected charts. All connected charts turn grey and a message displays with the reference ID of the connected Simple Search gadget

Yes!
Do I have to be a Jira Admin to use this feature?
No - any Jira user who can access the Dashboard can use the feature.
