Steps to Configure
Create Tempo Trusted App
Base URL:
API URL:
Render Icon URL:
Configure Custom Charts Data Source
Navigate to the Custom Charts global settings
Open the Data Sources tab
If you don’t see this tab, open the Features tab, and toggle on Data sources
Copy the Client ID and Secret from the trusted app set up
Paste ID and Secret on the Data Sources Page
Save
Install
Navigate back to the Tempo Apps page
Select ‘Install’ Custom Charts for Jira
Back to Apps Page

No action is required for Data Center customers to report on Tempo data

Overview
Custom Charts now supports reporting on data from Tempo Timesheets. For Cloud customers, there are several steps that are required to connect the two apps.
Set it up
The configuration for this connection is done from the Tempo Apps page.
To navigate to the Tempo Apps page,
Open the Apps dropdown in the main Jira header
Select Tempo
On the left navigation, select Apps
Once you’ve found the Apps page, you can simply locate the Custom Charts for Jira trusted app, and select Install!
Once you’ve installed the Trusted App, you can now load data such as Tempo worklog author into any Custom Charts gadget.
