External Watch

External Watch allows external users to subscribe to the shared issue.

This feature benefits external users because it saves them time.

This feature benefits you because it makes collaboration more immediate so that work can progress faster.

On each shared link, you can find the Watch for Changes section. The “Subscribe” button allows logged in users to subscribe to the issue.

The “Unsubscribe” button allows unsubscribing for changes.

Subscription rules depend on share configuration.

All non-restricted page changes (title, description) for all non-expired shares are notified to users subscribed to the page.

Additionally, based on share configuration, the user will receive notification about:

When fields are enabled to share in the link

New comments

When “View comments” is enabled

New attachments

When “View attachments” is enabled
