Work-management embedding

Introduction

External Share supports the viewing of Jira workflow management List, Board Link, and Roadmap Link content embedded in Confluence. This feature allows users to share Jira workflow management content seamlessly with external users via External Share. In this documentation, we will provide a brief overview of how to embed these links in Confluence and share them with External Share.

Embedding Jira Workflow Management List View

  1. In Jira, navigate to the workflow management list you want to link.

  2. Copy the URL from the address bar.

  3. In Confluence, edit the page where you want to add the link.

  4. Paste the URL and save the page.

Embedding Jira Board View

  1. In Jira, navigate to the Board you want to link.

  2. Copy the URL from the address bar.

  3. In Confluence, edit the page where you want to add the link.

  4. Paste the URL and save the page.

Embedding Jira Roadmap View

  1. In Jira, navigate to the Roadmap you want to link.

  2. Copy the URL from the address bar.

  3. In Confluence, edit the page where you want to add the link.

  4. Paste the URL and save the page.

Viewing Jira Content in External Share

Once you have embedded the desired Jira links in Confluence, you can share the content with external users via External Share. The embedded Jira content will be visible to users who access the shared link, providing a seamless experience for sharing Jira content.

With this new feature, External Share enhances the collaboration capabilities of Confluence and Jira, making it easier than ever to share Jira content with external users. Simply follow the steps outlined above to embed Jira work management links in Confluence and share them via External Share.
