New features

There are now 3 new feature available!

Selected users - email autofill new

If a created shared link includes selected users (email addresses), sharing the link via email will NO longer require manual input, simply click a button and all email addresses will be automatically added to the recipients field.

Users may now share http://draw.io charts on Externa Share.

Header image support new

Share Confluence pages with headers on External Share, this will be automatically displayed.

Header image is displayed regardless of view attachment configuration as it is part of the page.

Improvements

Responsive layouts improved

External Share now supports responsive layout design, this will improve UI quality to better match the original Confluence page UI, specially when the screen is resized.

Search page HTML/CSS customization improved

When customizing shares, the customization will now be implemented on the search page as well as the main page.

Domain and selected users columns improved

Two additional columns are now available (optional) to display selected users configuration on share list view, if an external share link has selected users, on the share list (project and global) you can view the list of domains and email addresses of the that share.

Page hierarchy (mobile) improved

UI/UX is now improved for page hierarchy on mobile devices, a dropdown menu now replaced the classic side view.

External comment and attachment error feedback improved

If a page has commenting and attachment restrictions, the comment feedback on External Share will now inform external user of the restriction, given the external users attempts to comment or add attachments.

Page restrictions are forced by Confluence, you can restrict external user actions on commenting and attachments from External Share configuration page.

SSO configuration UX improved

The “Service Provider Login URL” field will only be available to user after the “Workspace” name field is populated. This is because the workspace name will be used in the creation of service provider login URL and can reduce confusion and prevent users from mistakenly adding an incomplete URL to SSO provider.

Anonymous user subscription flow

If an anonymous (not logged-in) user will attempt to subscribe to a page, they will be redirected to login, after the login is completed, the subscription will happen and can be viewed on the subscriptions page.

Bug fixes

Subscription page dashboard view Fixed

Minor fixes were done to improve UI of the dashboard, there was a mismatch of the checkboxes which are now perfectly aligned.

Child page view in hierarchy Fixed

There was an issue where viewing child pages was blocked, this issue occurred but was fixed shortly after.
