HTML contract

When you create a document for signing using Contract Signatures for Confluence, HTML and PDF versions of the Confluence page are generated and added as attachments, as shown below.

These are generated as soon as you click “Create”.

Below is the HTML version of the contract, which the signees receive by email to sign.

HTML documents created using Contract Signatures include the following meta data:

  • Name of document

  • Name of creator

  • Created date and time

  • Status (Draft / In Progress / Rejected / Signed)

  • Names of signees

  • Which signees have signed, and which haven’t

When you click the Contract Signatures logo, you will see a list of all the HTML contracts that have been generated and are attached to the page. The meta data shown on the HTML document will also display here, i.e. document name, who created it, date and time for when it was created, and its status*. You can select each HTML document to archive or delete it.

* In the list window, the status of a contract that has been sent to signees will show as “Sent” rather than “In Progress” (which is how the status will display in the HTML document). If there are multiple signees, once one person signs, the status will show in the list window as “Ongoing”.
